Gokul Ramamurthy is the founder of Grivam, with 16 years of experience in the software industry building systems designed to be dependable, scalable and trusted in everyday life.
Today, he is deepening that experience through his study of Artificial Intelligence at IIT Kharagpur, with a focus on Generative AI and Agentic AI, exploring how intelligent technology can be applied thoughtfully to products that serve people and communities.
Gokul envisioned a space where families could come together in prayer, learn the meaning behind sacred texts, and build a consistent spiritual practice. Grivam brings together prayers with their meanings in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English, live prayer rooms, family circles and japa in one connected experience.
At the heart of Grivam is a deep respect for tradition. Every prayer text is carefully reviewed for accuracy before it is published, reflecting Gokul's belief that technology should not dilute tradition. It should help preserve it and make it more accessible.
As Grivam's founder, Gokul leads product, engineering and content, bringing together his experience in software, his ongoing work in AI, and his commitment to building something that is dependable, respectful of tradition and welcoming to every family.
